2. Design.
Your signage (whether for a retail shop, vehicle, promotional event or commercial project) is one of the most important advertising tools you have. Your signage is the brand, theme, style and image you want to portray to the world; creating the correct vision is vital.
It may be many years, even decades, before you change your signage scheme again; it needs to be right. At Poppy Signs our expert team will ensure you have the most eye-catching, impressive and effective signage.
We are completely different to most signage companies, who require a design to be provided, to be able to quote. Whether you’re right at the beginning of your journey struggling to decide on a shop/ company name and logo or you already have a clear idea of your required sign and style; our designers will work closely with you to create a complete concept and finished artwork.
WORKING TO FINISHED ARTWORK
Our complete design, print and manufacturing process is fully colour calibrated and signage is manufactured and installed to the tightest tolerances. If you have finished artwork, corporate brand reproduction guidelines, specific colour references or existing signage; we guarantee that your new signage will meet these exacting specifications.
PROJECT THEMES
In many projects, signs are simply a part of the overall theme, for example in children’s play centres, theme parks or arenas. We have the design experience and capacity to develop complete concepts, storyboard, manufacture and install the finished solution.
This specialist service could include interior building signage, wall wraps, characters, 3-D scenes and even animated effects. Our only limit is our imaginations!
BESPOKE DESIGN PROJECTS
Our design team love to be creative and relish a challenge. We offer a flexible design service to help you make bespoke requests become a reality. Previous projects have included portable dance booths, exhibition hand carts, guitar wraps, helicopter graphics and custom garage pit-stop styled graphics.
3. Site Surveys.
Our experienced sign consultants will carry out a complimentary site survey, if your project requires, to obtain accurate measurements and assess any health and safety requirements. Many of our signs are bespoke and require detailed specifications, to ensure we produce the desired effect in a cost effective and practical manner.
We also invest in our people and are proud of our highly skilled and experienced manufacturing team; many of whom we have trained from apprentice level.
We provide ongoing training and assessment to ensure consistently high standards.
4. Planning Applications.
We can offer expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to planning consent, including managing the whole process for you if required. Many factors must be taken into consideration; size and positioning of the signage, design content, text size, the use and type of any illumination, overall style, construction materials used, the existing street scene and listed building status.
5. Manufacture.
Our in-house sign manufacturing unit is fully equipped with the latest technology, this allows us to provide consistently excellent quality, turn projects around quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.

6. Installation.
We only use high-grade materials and installation fixings to guarantee quality and longevity. We do this alongside careful planning, creative design and a comprehensive site survey. Every installation is carried out with care, attention-to-detail and consideration for you, your employees and visitors. We ensure our team are up-to-date with training, current accreditations and HSE legislation.
